Retracing history: „… During the centuries the buildings grew more and more towards each other when empty plots were filled successively and began to enter the public road space resulting in a vivid town space with a number of small squares and a network of alleys providing public space for the citizens…”

The urban planning structure of our concept is deducted from this analysis of the historical development. The outstanding characteristics of the townscape – the interplay between special expansion and constriction, the terraced topography and the multifaceted structure of buildings and plots – are taken up and reinterpreted.
